Rainy Days and Mondays

The rain came back. Last night it sounded like a heard of cows peeing on flat rocks all night long. I thought I'd wake up in an ark this morning. I'm so tired of the rain. OK, I am whining so enough.
Cordi I know what ya mean about live in person friends. There is this one person I an kind to because I can't be rude to any one without working real hard on it, and she thinks she is my best friend now.Telling my kids to call her auntie and her kids calling me auntie and saying the kids are cousins. This lady is in need of some very intense help.
I mean everytime we are in the same place she atches herself to me and everytime I stand still I feel her breathing on me, it is like a dog humping on my leg she is so close.
I do try to keep a distance from her but she is always there. I feel stocked.
I don't even answer her phone calls.
(How do you type a shiver?)
This last week I have had the knitting needles in my hands everytime I sit down to the t.v. so I have 10 new dishcloths.
I started another doll that I will get paid for, WHOO HOOO.
I finished the white shaw and have actually worn it, I got so many complements on it I decided to make a black one, so I will start soon.
My sis saw the dishcloths and told me she needed more potholders so I will make some of those too.
I went to the dr today and we think the pain in my side just might be an ulser. I had them before when I was a kids so now I am not surprised at all. I told the dr I was under some stress. Kind of like the goldfish in the blender.

NO RAIN FOR TWO DAYS!!!
The sun came out today and after 35 days of rain it was kind of bright for a while.
The girls had an auction yesterday I think it did well. They made 100$ for their org they belong to.
I had made 6 crochet dishcloths and 2 knitted, 2 dolls, and put together a bath basket just a small one lotion and body wash and bathpuff.
With other donations there was about 20 items to bid on good thing it was a silent auction.
I finished the shawl I was working on and started knitting a dishcloth, just to have something going.
I got a request for another doll so I will start work on that to.
I got everything to the CPA today so that job is done.
Last friday was my b-day but we had been so busy this weekend and Tom took me out on saturday. We had my family b-day dinner today and I got cake. A carrot cake so rich and devine. Thanks for the Happy Day wish Cordi, miss you in the chats.
Now that everything has slowed down here (I hope), I think I will get some early spring cleaning done.

RAIN

It is still raining!
It has been raining here for 31 days straight. Offically at Sea-Tac it has rained 29 of the last 30 days and at Olympia Airport it has been 31 straight. I live almost equal distance from both reporting stations. The rain and wind was so hard last night that the tree next door to my sis blew over, it broke at the base. She was sleeping when the noise woke her, she said there was firefighters all over the street. I am glad to say that the tree fell in the road and everyone was safe.
This week has been full of drama so to say. Sis fell in the street and tore her menisks (sp). She is on crutches for a while. Dads car is still not running and he has taken sis's car to drive and now her other cars are not running I have been helping with the taxi dutys when I can.
In spite of all the running around I have done this past week I have managed to get some work done. I have 6 crocheted dish cloths, 2 knitted, 4 towels topped and started work on another doll, I am still working on the white shawl, almost finished. I also made a pair of earrings and 4 stick pins.
This week I hope to finish up everything and get ready for the CPA as well.

Yep It is Monday

Oh boy what a day.
First I get the kids up for school no biggie. Then when I take out the trash to the curb I noticed I have a flat on the van.UGH.
I get the mail and get the deposit ready for the bank. The bank is on the way to the tire place. I get to the tire place and have an hour wait. I tryed to call Tom and tell him about the tire but now the cell phone is not working, AAAAAGH.
For over an hour I kept getting system busy when I try calling out.
My sister was trying to call she had a car emergency too. Sis wanted me to pick her son up who was off work and at her place of work. I get there and she is off work to by this time so it was a one tripper, whoohoo.
We get to her place to see witch of her cars will start niether one will take a jump. So my nephew and I go to talk with a machanic to see witch will be fastest and cheapest to fix. Sis has a car that is running right now but dads car is down and he needs to drive my brother back and forth to work because he lost his right to drive for a while, so dad has the working car.
We decide to take the nove to the machanic and get it fixed I had to get hubbys pick-up so I can push or tow the nova. The good news is it is not the starter it was just some tightning up on a few things. Yes the nova will live,lol.
Earlier in the day sis hurt her knee real bad and has to see the dr for it. She hates drs and has to really be in pain. She not having a car to take herself to the dr I get to be her taxi. But at least I am not the one who has to drive her to work at 5:30 am.
I am glad monday is over.

School is back in session and hubby is gone for a while. Now it is time to get back to normal.
What is normal?
It is time for year end and getting stuff done for the C.P.A. I got my appointment today so I have a deadline. Trouble is I don't feel well this week not sure if it is allergies or the start of a cold, Plus there has been a pain in my right side for a couple of weeks. Don't know what is going on there, no other symtoms. Yes I got a Dr appointment for this.
I'm so glad to see that everything is alright down at Cordelia's that fire came close.
I'm sad a friend told me she has Huntington's Disease makes everything I have seem small right now.
Crafting completed- one set of earrings and four stick pins.
WIP- one white shawl.
