cozy

Well we made it through the cold blast last night. The wind blew so hard that trees were falling everywhere and knocking out electricity everywhere. We lost ours at 5 p.m. and it came back on just before 3 a.m.
Dinner had to be finished cooking on the grill outside, the kids were laughing about using the dutch oven to cook dinner. I did not want to go out for dinner because of all the falling trees and blowing branches I thought it was to dangerous. At bed time I had the kids in my room with the all the hallway doors closed and my bedroom door closed too. The cats were mad and scratched the door all night. My oldest claimed the bed with me and when hubby came home there was three of us in the bed.Cozy. It was warm enough for us in there and got warmer when the electric came on.
I was able to do a little crocheting before it got to dark a little more because I was using white.
Last week I finished two dolls and a book bag and I got 1/2 of a third doll done.When I finish this one I will be out of doll yarn, shopping!

Friday. WHOOOHOOOOO

Yea it is friday , now what? I have had meetings every night this week I am so glad it is over. I took Kimmie to the specialist on weds. and he said her elbow is bruised in the growth plate and it will take another 3-4 weeks to heal. Today I take Nicole to the dr for a follow up on her migraines I don't know what we are going to do she does not like taking the meds to prevent them. Hubby is upset with the owner of the trailer we are leasing and has to take it over 100 miles to have work done on it that he can do himself at home a lot faster than it will take just to drive up there. This is also taking from my time with hubby before he takes off again for a few weeks. Well I need to get busy for today.

It is one of those weeks this week. I have meetings or something to do for every night this week. I really do like being busy......sometimes, lol.
I finally got someone local to see Kimmie about her arm saving me a trip to Portland. I recalled one of the Dr's that was called on friday and told them that she was the one the two drs were talking about and they made her an appointment. I take her today, I hope all goes well. More later.

I am glad this week is over. I have had a stressful week.
First the dr said I might have and ulser, duh.
Then my son falls and twisted his ankle he thinks it is broken and he will die from the pain, but I think it is just sprang and he will live. That was wednesday, I took him to dr on friday and I was right. I also took my youngest to the dr on friday because her arm is still hurting her and she can not fully extend or bend it she hurt it on the 18th of jan. The dr took new x-rays but found no break. He wants her to see a specialist as soon as possible. The trouble is (and here comes the ranting), that no one is taking new patients with medical coupons till april and then they will shedual for june and july. Why should she have to wait so long just because she has medical coupons, she is hurting now by then it could be healed, permanent, or become worse. It is not fair at all.( Yelling and stamping my feet). I am going to make more phone calls in the morning then call the Shriners in Portland. Then I am going to write to the state legisilators.
Next , I was told later on friday that the guy we are renting one of the truck trailers from wants it back NOW not at the previously agreed date of end of march so we will need to find another one or sit and not make money till we find another. This guys wife is a real Bitch and a half, I would love to put a hex on her or something. (Sending bad thoughts her way).
So why do I and the dr think I have an ulcer?
