Wha Hoo!!!!

Wha Hoo!!!! Thanks Vicki for the yarn. Yea I got yarn 2 boxes of it. She just gave it to me. Vicki was cleaning out her supply and offered me the booty. Nice lady real sweet of her.
I have to keep the kids out of the yarn they have picked out colors and have ideas for mom to make for them. I have some ideas too.
I have been busy doing truck work this week. Business is picking up now if the fuel will just go down. I need to get busy with the yarn and the beads. I just have not been in the mood lately I don't know why. The kids are driving me nuts too. I want a vacation but will never get one.
I want to be thin but that will never happen either.

Yippee

Yipee! All six dolls are done, so now I can move on to other things, like, oh I don't no, but something else for a while.
I need to get to sewing more of the tiny mukluks and moccasins they are cute but they are hand sewn. They sell fast at the pow wows just before Christmas. I want to do some beaded earrings too. I got an idea for a new designs. I have some gourds to do up for rattles, and feathers to bead up too.
I was cleaning up around the house and found a few WIPs I didn't think I had any but I guess I do.
I have an idea for doing an afghan or two. One is a lone star design eight sided and starts in the center, I want to do red, black, and grey. The other is an original of mine a reversible lattice done in two colors I made up the pattern a long time ago but have not done one in a log, long time. It will be fun to do these again especially since it is getting afghan weather. Cozy under while working, LOL.
I got all my invoices done for this week even the ones for next monday.Wow, I was doing good this week then hubby made some changes to the weeks work, grrrr. It is a good thing I love him.

This house is so dusty. I can dust and by the next day it is dusty again. Never ending circle.
I sat down on friday and satuurday and did some beading I made 2 pairs of red, white and blue earrings. My 10 year old daughter thought she would help me sort through my beads, do you need these mom? Do you want these? What are you planning to do with these mom? Yes you can have those and these but not them. First my yarn stash now my beads. She is doing good with the beads she has made some ornaments and I have her started on the loom beading hair barrets.
I'm almost finished with the 6th doll that I have committed to making so now on to other things like beading.
I did make it through the 3 day weekend and I let the kids live too.

Has it been a week?

Has it been a week?
My, my how time slips away. I do have an excuse, Tom has been home all week and hogging the computer.
I started the week with 3 dolls on the hook and I finished 2 of them. I ran out of yarn, I need to get at least 2 more made I would have only needed 1 more but Kimmie asked for 1 and how can I refuse a cutie like her.
Some good news though my dad sold 2 pairs of beaded earrings for me I was not expecting that, but I did enjoy the extra money. I need to make time for more beading so he can hustle more for me.
I had to take dad to the eye Dr last Friday he is having problems with his left eye. There is bleeding behind the the retina and he has lost vision in his eye. I have to take him back in the morning to have pictures done and see what else we need to get done. I hope that all it takes is time to heal. We shall soon find out.
This will be a short school week for the kids. I may be over the edge by Friday.

No Beading Yesterday

Well, I didn't get any beading done yesterday or crocheting. I did not get any crafting done at all.
Here's why.
When I first got up I debated shower now or later, I decided to shower early in the day because I had a felling it was now or never.
Good thing I did. Just as I sat done and started to do some crocheting I got a phone call from my hunting hubby and son. The truck had hit a slick patch and they could not get enough trackion to get up the hill so they were walking out of the forest.
I knew about where they were at but he had the maps with him so I was guessing. He told me which line he was on and the number of the track and area but I soon found out that the roads were not clearly marked which made it hard for me to find them.
We kept in touch as much as we could with the cell phones but it was hit and miss with the coverage and his battery was getting real low.
I had passed the road he was on twice before I realized that was the road.
I had no map until I ask another person if I could look at his map to find them and he was kind enough to give me his spare map so I could really study it and figure out where they were. I had passed them on my way back to the beginning of the road when his call got through that they were on the main road. I thought he was down nearer to the beginning of the road and kept going in that direction, I turn down the road I thought he was on but it was a dead end and turn around to go back out. I turned back to go deeper in the woods to where I found them on the map. They were waiting there for me, tired and so wore out from the walk. My son is just 11 years old and he had kept up with his dad for what we think is about 7 miles. Up hill and gravel in the rain. When we got to the main highway and on the way home he was sleeping in the back seat of the mini van. We will be going back to the woods tomorrow to retrieve the truck. My mini van is now red and mud colored
I hope we get a deer or an elk out of this so it is not a complete waste of time and money.
I am getting some crochet done today.
