Nuckin' Futs

Yep I am going crazy right now. Hubby is home getting the truck repaired. When he is spending money and not out making money he is hell to live with.
So my yard was weedwacked and mowed. He said he was going to clean the garage and through all the crap out. Well the crap is his stuff but he says my stuff has to go because my stuff don't make a profit and his does. He has wood for a boat he will never build and a table saw that temps our son. Old paint in MY canning jars, anti-freeze containers, and oil jugs all over the place. He tossed in the straps and tarps from the flatbed he has parked in the front yard. AQnd other trucking stuff.
My stuff is a cabinet full of fabric, a bookshelf of crafting books, canning equipment and supplies, boxes of blankets, washer and dryer, and business files.
So who has junk in the garage.
So wanting to protect my prized belongings, I went into the garage and started the cleaning. He never stepped into the garage all day. I got it almost all cleaned up.
I have to get to his half and then we will see whose stuff is crap.
The pick-up is loaded to the top because aI cleaned my bedroom and so did the girls they had a lot of garbage in there. My room had a few bags too but that is because the kids think my room is their room. That will stop this summer.
I am going to get a new bed next month I told hubby that I will put the bed on the pick-up and haul it off too, I WILL get a new bed!
Night all I am tired.

Hope everyone had a nice Fathers Day.
My sis, bro and I got together and did a B-B-Q for our Dad.
We had steaks, bake potatoes and salad for dinner. For dessert my sis had made ice cream, vanilla and chocolate. I made peach cobbler from the peaches I canned last summer.
Hubby was not home today he is in Wyoming. He is heading towards home though.
Yesterday I made t-shirt transfers for the girls org. and today I ironed them on so they will be ready for next weekend.
Next weekend the girls and I will be going to Ellensberg, Wa for the state convention. It will be 4 days over there I hope it wont be to hot.
We have family coming up from Cali. for the 4th of July, 2 aunts and an uncle.
The weekend after the 4th my is hubby's family reunion. We have reservations at the state park for camping. We have been married 14 years and we have not camped together. I am getting everything ready. We need 2 more sleeping bags and some air mattresses, and maybe another ice chest. I can cook over a campfire we don't have a campstove and I don't know if I want to get one.
Well have a good day, whats left of it anyway.

I survived the field trip

I survived the field trip to eastern washington with the 6th graders.
We left on thursday and went to Rosland. It was an old coal mining town settled in the late 1800's. We stopped to look around the cemetery it is segragated by nationality. It was interesting but I hate being in cemeteries.
Next we went to the Ginko Petrified Forest. I enjoyed it there, seeing different kinds of petrified wood and learning how the terain of Washington State. There was also a few accient rock drawings that was saved and moved there before the valley was flooded by the dam.
I was fooling with my camera and lost the picures from that first day.
The second day we went to Republic to do some fossil digging. This was the part I was really looking foward to. We were spliting open shale looking for leaves, bugs or fish. None of us found anything that was not found before. We had a lot of fun there.
Next we went to Winthrop, we windowed shopped mostly because the stores close early there and the kids had ice cream.
Saturday we stopped in Leavenworth, a Bavarian village,on the way home. There is a lot of little tourist shops there. The kids got ice cream again and some specialty chocolates.
Everyone had fun and I really enjoyed the 5 kids.
Sunday I helped my sis for a while clean the house she just moved from. I could not stay long because the girls had a meeting that evening. So Monday I put in about 6 hours cleaning the carpets and kitchen floors. I also scrubed the stove back to like new condition, washed windows and made sure the little things got done. That night I was in pain because I over did it, back shoulder and both arms ached so bad I had a hard time sleeping.
Today my son graduated from the 6th grade, he was next to the last one. It was a short ceremony today I am glad for that. There are 42 in his class. Split up in 3 classrooms.
Tomorrow my oldest daughter graduates from the 8th grade, I hope it will be short too. There are 63 in her class.
Wow I just worked it out for the graduations of my kids-
Nicole will grad 2010
Thomas wil grad. 8th in 2008, 12th in 2012
Kim will grad. 6th in 2008, 8th in 2010, 12th in 2014
2 graduations in 2006, 2008 and 2010.

Back

I got back from Cali. Monday around 5pm. I was so tired I was seeing spots, hubby was home so he fed me and sent me to bed.
My cousin was driving back from making his deliveries and was cut off by a semi truck. It was instant so he felt no pain. I am having a hard time understanding what the truckdriver was thinking, being that I am myself a truckdriver, passing and then slowing down. The services will be tomorrow and I had to come home so I won't be there in person but will be in spirit. My aunt and Uncle understand I have things to do with my own kids.
Speaking of which, I will be off again for a few days with my son on a three day fieldtrip. I have been looking forward to this fieldtrip ever since I found out where the 6th grade Gifted and Talented kids go. First we will stop in Rosland, WA. It is an old coal mining town. It is also where they filmed Northern Exposure, when that show was on. Then it is to Vantage to the Petrified Forrest. We will spend the night at a western ghosttown. I really is not a ghosttown but themed as one for the tourist, In Winthrop we will be staying at a hotel for two nights. Friday we will be going to Republic for FOSSIL DIGGING (this is the part I was looking forward to).
The fossils are of plants. We will split shale to find them. I hope the kids will enjoy this as much as I think I will. back to the hotel in Winthrop. On the way home we will stop at Leavenworth (Washington not Kansas). It is another tourist town with a German theme.
We should be home about 7pm on Saturday.
