It's wednesday

Time has just gone by. No flown by but just gone. I don't know how it passed without notice but it did.
Monday of last week Tom started orentation with as new company driver. He has driven for them before and is still remembered by a lot of people there. I had to drive him to the shuttle bus at 4:30 a.m. Thursday so he could catch a flight to so.cal. and pick up his truck. His first load was to come back here, so on Sunday I had to go pick him up from the yard. He took me to breakfast. Later I and the 2 girls had to go to a meeting so we were gone all afternoon.
Monday after the kids left for school I had to take him back to the truck. That is the bad thing about driving for someone else hw can't just bring the truck home he has to park it at the yard, and we only have 1 car.
The car. We have a 2000 chey mini van and the transmission is acting up.
I took it in to have it flushed out and it took so long because it had never been done before. I hope it makes it better.
I started some beaded earrings before Tom left. I was working on them just to have something to do out of his way and I just need to get the fring done and it has been that way since last week.
I'm still working on a knitted baby blanket about 1/2 way if I don't find 2 more skiens to put in it so it might come out a bit short.
I started a pair of ww socks 2 weeks ago and just have 1/2 of the cuff.
Last night my son had to help serve a dinner for one of the Masons Lodges here and I ended up helping in the kitchen. No big deal I have done so many dinners when I was his age. By the way congrats Kevin having been elected the next WM. They were serving prime rib and after everyone was served I had a bit of it. It was so go but I paid for it my belly hurt so bad just 30 minutes after eating it. It was not the meat but me about 2 years ago I started hurting so I quit eating beef. Now I know for sure it is the beef that makes me hurt. Back to chicken and fish only.
Today was 1/2 day of school, I hate 1/2 days. They get home before noon and the other one at 1:00. Man do I hate 1/2 days.

Stop I want OFF!

Well this week has been as fun as getting your teeth scraped without novcane.
We decided to scrap the truck. Yep we are going to sell off for parts. We can not afford to fix it and it is to old to sell to someone who can fix it. So it is going bye-bye.
On Wednesday we got a boil water order from the water company. They had a possitive reading for E-coli. We finally got the all clear late Friday night. You never think about what you use your tap for till it is gone, even washing hands and dishes was out.
Friday Tom had an apointment with a Dr. for a D.O.T. physical. Stupid Dr said that the company would not hire him because he has a hernia. He has had it for about 10 years and it is not growing or bothering him in any way, in fact it has shrunk a bit. But she had to go and make a fuss about it and he walked out and called the company he was going to go to work for and they backed the Dr. Totally wrong. The only thing that will not get a truck driver hired is diabetes and high blood pressure not a hernia. The nurse called and said he needed to come back and finish the phys. I said she was full of it and so was the Dr. she worked for and they could be in a lot of trouble leaglly for making the hiring dession for a trucking company. I was just blowing steam at her and wanted them to feel a bit of fear.
After Tom got home and moped for a while he call another company we had been with before and talked to them. They asked if he could get over there and fill out an app. He was there in 5 minutes. They called him 15 minutes after he got home he goes to orentation on Monday. He has been home for over 3 weeks and has driven me nuckin futs.
Today I had to take my son to help out at a car show. That was fun. After we got home about 1/2 an hour, there was an explostion under the hi-way we used to get there and home. Big one too.
Just now my youngest tells me she is invited to a b-day party at 9:30 am, and her friend is on the phone trying to get her to go. I have to take my son and drop him off at a chili feed and pick up some girls at 11:30 and go do a house clean up and then bring the girls back and pick up my son before coming back home. There is no way I can pick her up at 12noon and get her home. Her friend just told her if I can get her there they can bring her home. Oh joy my day will start early.
