AHHHHHHHHH

Yesterday was the first day of school. Relief!
After the kids left, the bus picks them up and drops them off at the door, I went back to bed for 2 hours. I did some banking and got my nails done, had lunch and did not do any house cleaning all day. I sat and crocheted and watched the weather channel. I think I'll do that again today.

2 MORE DAYS!

Just 2 more days till school, YIPEE!
One of the bus drivers called to say she would be here around 6:30 am to pick up the high school and middle school kids I am still waiting on the elementary bus driver to call and say what time to pick up the youngest one.
I wonder how I will spend my day.
I went camping this weekend with my son and his organization. There were about 200 teen boys (yes I said 200 teen boys). They are a wonderful group of young men. There were 17 from his own group and the rest came from all over the state. We had a lot of fun playing in the river and water slide in the swimming pond. And they had a treasure hunt on sat. I sat with my feet in the river and drew a pic of across the river. I forgot to take my camera again.
My side has quit hurting for the most part. Sometimes it will hurt because of eating something that irritates it like peanuts and nut seeds and not enough fiber. So I am learning to live with it I guess.
There are a number of wildfires in Washington right now, it has been so dry this summer. Some fires have been burning for more than 2 weeks. We live near a large forrest area and I get nervous about the smoke from nearby fires because of my youngest. She has had some trouble with respitory distress and needed breathing treatment in the past. I am a bit over protective.
Oh well, I need to go to bed now. Later.

I went to the Dr today about my side. There is nothing more to do till I get insurance and see a specialist for more testing. So just keep doing what I have been, no red meat and cutting back on the wheat products. I have lost 20lbs since January trying to relieve the pain. I swear I have eaten so much bunny food I think my nose is twiching.
We have to take my Dad in for testing on Monday. He has lesions on his lungs now and it maybe from asbestos exposer from a long time ago. He is mad at my sis for making the call to get him in and tested. Dad has always said if he has a terminal illness he does not want to know about it. But it is something we need to know so we know how to take care of him. Sis is getting him on the list for the law suit just so he can get the medical covered. We don't want anything else from it.
All summer I have been doing some crocheting and knitting. I should post pics, I will later. So far I have knitted over 35 dishclothes, crochet a dozen potholders, and 2 dolls. I have also crocheted 6 marketbags, and 2 beach bags.
SCHOOL STARTS NEXT WEDENSDAY!!!!!:)

Oh the pain

Oh the pain in my side is back. It started last Nov. It sometime fells like I've been hit with a 2X4. It is on the right side just below the ribs. The pain has been there and never really went away but last week it hit hard made me sick to my stomach and some days I fely like I had food poisoning, nausea, cold sweats, chill, dizzy, weak knees. It only lasted a few minutes but I hate that feeling. I have been seeing a Dr. about this and I go to see him next week. I think last week was because I was eating sandwiches and not eating salads anad fruit like I had been. This week I was back on the bunny food hoping the pain would go away but it has not yet. It has eased a bit but not enough to make me happy. I have a few ideas as to what this might be, we'll see what the DR. says.
I have been having trouble signing on to yahoo the last couple of days. Real pisser.
Took my son in for a sporyts physical today, he is as tall as I am now and he's 12.
Tomorrow I need to take my nephew to the Dr. because he hurt his ankle last night. He thinks it is broken.
My hubby will be home on thursday and will stay till saturday then be off again till hunting season.
I can't wait till Aug. 30th. It is my favorite holiday of all. THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Wheeeeehoooo!.

Going into Canada.

The Peace Arch between Canada and the U.S.

Closing Ceremony

Coming back to the U.S.

We had a good time in Canada last week. The girls belong to an International Organization, the same one I belonged to when I was a girl. This was the first time I got to go to the International Meeting. Because it was just up the road a piece ( 200 miles). I thought we should go. There was an arts and craft competition and Kim enter 3 of her art pieces and won First Place on all three. Nicole entered another competition for memory work she has the piece word perfect she just needs to work on drama on the delivery of it. I am proud of her for entering even though she did not place, there was over 50 girls doing the same piece in her age group, so competition was tough.
We did not go around to do the tourist thing because there is not much difference between home and there, and we were on a very tight budget.
Next year the meeting will be in Indiana, we hope to be able to make that one too.
